Michael Thomas (Tom) Green was born July 30, 1971. Tom Green is a Canadian shock comic and television host who is currently hosting
Tom Green Live. Tom has his own LIVE website where you can participate in his antics via his
fan
email blog or by supplying a really crazy video
clip to post on his website.
Tom was born in Pembroke, Ontario, Green grew up in suburban Ottawa. While attending Algonquin College he had a radio show at the
University of Ottawa's campus radio station. MTV gave Tom his own show. He would later go on to write and star in full length Hollywood
feature films.
Tom has starred in several Hollywood movies: Road Trip, Freddy Got Fingered, Stealing Harvard, Charlie’s Angels, The True Meaning of
Christmas Specials (2002), Grind, and Bob the Butler.
Tom also has a musical side to him as well. He has performed in a rap band and has
added songwriting to his credit.
When Jay Leno steps aside in 2009, and Conan O'Brien
moves up, there is currently a petition to have Tom Green replace Conan. This
would be a perfect fit on the Conan format, but this writer is still in doubts of Conan filling the slot of the late night leader. |
